Art Exploration Summer Camp: June 1 - June 5
Children Ages 6 - 10 will spend the week with Ms. Carmen learning drawing, painting, printmaking, and collage making in this class for beginning artists. This class is highly popular throughout the school year, and is now available for summer!
Art Journaling for Tweens Summer Camp: June 8 - June 12
Students ages 9-12 will customize the cover and keep an art journal filled with writing, sketches, ideas, and artwork. Collage, drawing, painting techniques and journal prompts will be given for this class.
Art In Nature Summer Camp: June 15 - June 19
Students aged 7-11 will spend the week with Ms. Carmen focusing on integrating the natural world into their artwork. They will gather objects from the trails to use as drawing and painting tools, create eco prints using natural pigments from leaves and fruits, make handmade paper, and hike the nature trails, and keep a sketchbook inspired by the world around us. A fantastic (and fun!) way to integrate the local flora and fauna into art education.
Mixed Media Mini Camp for Teens and Tweens: 3 - day mini camp June 22-June 24
In this three day mini course, students will learn a variety of techniques (collage, gel plate printing, embroidered elements) and choose which include in their own mixed media work. Perfect for students wanting creative freedom to create an original piece of art. Instructor will provide all supplies as well as Bristol paper to work on, but students may bring their own canvas and collage material if desired.
2026 Theater Summer Camp: Aristocats!
We are so thrilled to be hosted by the Pascagoula-Gautier school district again. Students aged 7-14 will learn the ins and outs of live, stage performance with professional lighting and sound. We embrace a nurturing and supportive approach where all campers have an active on-stage role in the show, although we do welcome backstage campers who want to learn the ins and outs of costuming, set design, sound, etc - just please note that in your registration. This camp is always a highlight of the summer for our young patrons AND their parents. Carpooling from Ocean Springs will be available!
Painting for Kids Summer Camp: July 6 - July 10
Children ages 7-11 will be introduced to a whole new set of artists this week, focusing on influential modern and contemporary artists, and create their own paintings and projects based on the styles of these incredible artists. Students will also be provided a notebook and examples of work, so that they may record notes, and ideas to help them learn more about these art dynamos, and log their own creative ideas! (Age 6 welcome, but very light writing involved)
Cardboard Camp! Summer Camp: July 13 - July 17
Children Ages 9 - 12 A mini woodland cottage, a small scale art museum- You’ll be surprised what this often discarded material can transform into! Throughout the year, my students are always delighted to get to create with cardboard, so I’m dedicating a week of summer camp to the possibilities of cardboard, at their request. We’ll let our imaginations run wild as we craft and paint small objects from cardboard, and other crafty materials.
Art Exploration Encore Camp: July 20 - July 24
Students ages 6-11 will spend the week creating landscape, animal, and other collages with papers they will prepare using a variety of experimental techniques. A wonderful way to explore pattern, shape, and color. Perfect for little artists with BIG imaginations!
Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing
Youth Mental Health First Aid is an early intervention public education program. It teaches adults how to recognize the signs and symptoms that suggest a potential mental health challenge, how to listen nonjudgmentally and give reassurance to a youth who may be experiencing a mental health challenge, and how to refer a person to appropriate professional support and service.
FALL OPEN HOUSE EVENT
It is that time of year when we simply can’t help but show off the beautiful Twelve Oaks Property with a little bit of fall family fun and LOT of art. If you’ve been eye-ing this delightful little house in the woods and have been wondering what it is all about, come on out and join us!! This is a wonderful day for ALL ages with so much to do.

Hand Building Mugs
This class is perfect for both the novice who wants to try something new AND the more experienced sculptor. Students will first learn to make cup forms using a bisque fired mold, then create and connect handles, and lastly decorate the mug as they desire. Students will have access to all of the tools required to come up with any design their creative mind can imagine. The mugs will be kiln fired for food safety and available for pick up a week after class. This class is for ages 10 and up - minors must be accompanied by an adult.
